Cabrera Lejardi , Melba Pérez Moreno, Olga Lidia file neocolonial period irrigation legajo periodo neocolonial riego En Cuba en el periodo neocolonial, la agricultura tenía poco desarrollo y con esto la actividad de riego, por lo cual este trabajo tuvo como objetivo, hacer una búsqueda en el archivo de la antigua Estación Agronómica de Santiago de las Vegas, hoy INIFAT, con vistas a conocer los antecedentes de dicha actividad. Para ellos se revisaron 153 expedientes inéditos sobre el desarrollo y organización del riego, en el periodo comprendido entre 1929 y 1959, que forman parte del Legajo No. 452, los cuales se encuentran conservados actualmente. Los resultados obtenidos muestran que del total de expedientes revisados, el 40 % son con fines de evacuación de consultas (asesorías), el 44 % dedicados a la organización y desarrollo del riego en la finca e investigaciones de la aplicación del riego y el 16 % de los documentos referidos a la valoración de ofertas de equipos, evaluación de técnicas y publicaciones. Se pone de manifiesto el interés de los científicos de esa época en profundizar sobre la temática y brindar conocimientos a personas interesadas en esta actividad, lo que muestra el desarrollo del riego en la Estación Experimental Agronómica y en el país. In the period neocolonial in our country the agriculture had little development with this the irrigation activity, we intended in this work, to make a search in the file of the old Agronomic Station of Santiago of the Vegas, today INIFAT, where 153 unpublished files are conserved on the development and organization of the activity of the watering, between 1929 and 1959 that are part of the file number 452, with a view to knowing the antecedents of this activity. The results obtained show that of the total of 153 files, 40 % is with ends of evacuation of consultations, 44 % dedicated to organization and development of the watering in the property and investigations of the watering application and 16 % of the documents referred to valuation of offers of watering teams, evaluation of technical and publications. This shows the interest of the scientists of that time in to deepen on the thematic one and to offer knowledge to people interested in this activity, what shows the development of the watering in the Agronomic Experimental Station and in the country.
