LD-638, nueva variedad de pimiento para campo abierto LD-638, new pepper variety for open field Rodríguez LLanes, Yaritza Depestre Manso, Tomás L. Hernández González , Lázaro Felipe Pérez, Adalberto pepper open field potyvirus hybridization pimiento campo abierto potyvirus hibridación LD-638, nueva variedad de pimiento para campo abierto, de polinización abierta, tipo California Wonder, de un ciclo vegetativo de 130 días. Resistentes a potyvirus, de frutos grandes, con buena adaptación y productividad. Se obtuvo por la hibridación, seguido de selección individual y autofecundaciones sucesivas. Esta variedad se ha validado en el Instituto de Investigaciones Hortícolas Liliana Dimitrova (IIHLD) y en diferentes sistemas de producción pertenecientes a las provincias de La Habana, Mayabeque y Artemisa. LD-638, new pepper variety for open field, of open pollination, type California Wonder, of a vegetative cycle of 130 days. Resistant to potyvirus, of big fruits, with good adaptation and productivity. It was obtained by the hybridization, followed by individual selection and successive autofecundations. This variety has been validated in the Institute of Horticultural Investigations Liliana Dimitrova (IIHLD) and in different production systems belonging to the counties of Havana, Mayabeque and Artemisa.
