Se determinaron los efectos de la colindancia para analizar su posible consecuencia en la aparición de los insectos, la incidencia y distribución de los organismos nocivos, se evaluaron las alternativas biológicas en su regulación, la efectividad técnica, la prueba de virulencia frente a los artrópodos y la valoración económica. Para la comparación de las medias se aplicó un análisis de varianza simple con el test de rangos múltiples de Duncan con un 5 % de probabilidad de error. Se realizó el ajuste de la ecuación polinómica y cálculo del coeficiente de determinación. Se utilizó un paquete estadístico SSPS versión 17. La ocurrencia de estas plagas no estuvo determinada por el efecto de la colindancia. Los valores de la intensidad y distribución de Empoasca kraemeri en el tratamiento fue 2,6 % y 16%, Diabrotica balteata fue 2,6 % y 5% y Andrector ruficornis fue 1,6% y 18%. La efectividad técnica de Metarhizium anisopliae para la regulación de Empoasca kraemeri fue del 88% y Beauveria bassiana para Diabrotica balteata y Andrector ruficornis del 76 %.Se justifica económicamente la alternativa biológica para la regulación de la plaga en el cultivo del fríjol. The essay was carried out with de objective of determining the key plagues and their regulation with biological pesticides in the cultivation of the bean, in the province of Ciego of Ávila. The effects of the boundary to analyze their possible consequence in the appearance of the insects, and the incidence and distribution of the noxious organisms were determined. The technical effectiveness and the virulence of the biological alternatives applied, as well as the economic valuation were also evaluated. An analysis of simple variance was applied with the test of multiple ranges of Duncan with 5% of error probability for the comparison of the average values. It was carried out the adjustment of the polynomial equation and the calculation of the coefficient of determination. A statistical package SSPS version 17 was used. The incidence of the plagues was not determined by the effect of the boundary. The values of the intensity and distribution in the treatments were: Empoasca kraemeri 2,6% and 16%; Diabrotica balteata 2,6% and 5%; Andrector ruficornis 1,6% and 18%. The technical effectiveness of Metarhizium anisopliae in the regulation of Empoasca kraemeri was 88%, while technical effectiveness of Beauveria bassiana in the regulation of Diabrotica balteata and Andrector ruficornis was 76%.
