El trabajo se realizó en el marco del proyecto “Regionalización de cultivares de garbanzo (Cicer arietinum L.) en las condiciones de Cuba”. Se evaluaron cultivares de garbanzo cubanos y foráneos con el objetivo de realizar pruebas comparativas entre cultivares con vista a su futura recomendación a la producción. Se determinaron aquellos genotipos que mostraban una mayor estabilidad en su rendimiento. Este estudio involucró al testigo comercial JP-94 y otros cultivares del Registro oficial de variedades comerciales y las cuales no presentan una amplia difusión en el país.
