García Blanco, Raidel environmental education professors agricultural diversity educación ambiental profesores diversidad agrícola La educación ambiental es un proceso continuo y permanente, y es una de las dimensiones de la educación integral de todos los ciudadanos. La incorporación de la dimensión ambiental en general y la relacionada con los recursos de la diversidad agrícola en particular, está insuficientemente tratada y lograda en todos los niveles de enseñanza, aún en los territorios donde la influencia de actividades de este tipo se hace cotidiana. El presente trabajo expone los resultados preliminares obtenidos en la aplicación de materiales didácticos sobre la diversidad agrícola, en profesores de escuelas de diferentes territorios de Pinar del Río, así como la presencia de elementos afines, en el pensamiento ambiental de éstos en escuelas de La Habana. Los profesores de las escuelas involucradas en el programa de educación ambiental sobre agrobiodiversidad han acogido con entusiasmo los materiales sobre el tema, los que les han permitido enriquecer los sistemas de enseñanza en las diferentes asignaturas de los distintos ciclos, a la vez que los ha dotado de herramientas eficientes para aumentar la conciencia ambiental de sus alumnos. Los elementos contenidos en los materiales elaborados para la educación ambiental sobre la agrobiodiversidad, han permitido a los profesores desarrollar propuestas de nuevos temas para Tesis de Maestría, en mayor concordancia con el entorno en que desarrollan su labor docente. The environmental education is a continuous and permanent process, and it is one of the dimensions of the integral education of all the citizens. The integration of the environmental dimension in general and the related with the resources of agricultural diversity in particular, is insufficiently treated and achieved in all teaching levels, still in the territories where the influence of activities of this type becomes daily. The present work exposes the preliminary results obtained in the application of didactic materials about agricultural diversity, in professors of schools of different territories of Pinar del Río, as well as the presence of related elements, in the environmental thought of them in schools of La Habana. The professors of the schools involved in the of environmental education program on agrobiodiversity have embraced with enthusiasm the materials on this matter, those that have allowed them to enrich the education systems in the different matters of the different cycles; at the same time it has enriched them with efficient tools for increasing the environmental conscience of their students. The elements contained in the elaborated materials for the environmental education on agrobiodiversity, have allowed the professors to develop proposals of new topics for Master Thesis, in much more agreement with the context where they develop their educational work.
