Seed pellet with plant growth promoting bacteria
Main Article Content
Abstract
Pellet in a technology used in the whole world to protect the seed against mechanic, chemic and biologic damage. Increase the value of this system with microorganisms will be good for crop yield. By Zonal Box Diffusion Method was demonstrated that strains of Azotobacter chroococcum, Rhizobium pusense, Rhizobium spp, Bacillus megatherium y Bacillus subtilis pure and combine, were compatible with Disco Agroespecial Azul L-201 y Disco Agro Verde L-205 substances. Microorganism’s population in pellet seed inoculated with mix microorganism (A. chroococcum, B. megatherium and B. subtilis) for maize seed (Zea mays L.) and rice (Oryza sativa L.) and Rhizobium, B. megatherium and B. subtilis for chickpea (Cicer arietinum L.) and black bean (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) was between 103 y 105 UFC seed-1. Seeds inoculated with microorganism combination and pellets are deteriorated before 15 days of store. In freezers conditions (4-6 °C) was showed an increase of microorganism concentration between 103 and 106 UFC seed-1. Over controlled conditions was demonstrated that with the use of pellet technology and plant promoting bacteria was obtained increased different growth indicators for the four crops respect to no inoculated variant. The substance Disco Agro Verde L-205 had better results.
