Alternative use of the tomato variety (Solanum lycopersicum L.) ´Daniel´ in protected crop.

Abstract
The experiment was developed at Liliana Dimitrova Horticultural Research Institute, in the months of December-April 2018-2019 in a 450 m2 tropical pattern A-10 grow house. In order to determine the agronomic behavior of the ´Daniel´ tomato variety determined growth, for fresh consumption in protected crop, the planting frame used was 0,20m between plants with a density of 1,91 plants.m-2. Two treatments were carried out, one tutored and the other tumbled. Randomized plots were taken to evaluate four replicates in each treatment. The fertigation was carried out taking into account the adjustment for protected crops and the nutrient solution applied was controlled through a water meter. The evaluations of the average mass of the fruits (g), total yield and by categories (t.ha-1), percentage of yield by categories (%), as well as observations of electrical conductivity in each development phase were carried out. As a result, a yield of 23.61 t.ha-1 was obtained, for a commercial yield of extra and first fruits of 14.93 t.ha-1, for 67.21%, in 5 clusters, in the tutored treatment, although without significant differences in the total yield in relation to the tumbled treatment (23.14 t.ha-1), which may be acceptable for the protected crop system.
