Abstract

In the Intensive orchard “Paquito Borrero Labadi” under conditions of urban agriculture, the effect of three compost levels was verified (5, 7.5 and 8 kg/m2) with and without application of humus to foliate to reason of 10 Kg//ha; about some indicators of the growth and productivity of the pepper (Capsicum annum, L.) var. Spanish 16 in good period of sowing. A design bifactorial was used random completely, with four levels of the Factor TO and two levels of the Factor B, for a total of eight treatments and four replicas. The experimental data were subjected to analysis of variance of double classification and multiple comparisons of stockings by means of the Test of Duncan. The obtained results evidence the kindness of the organic agriculture as viable alternative in the pepper production, being corroborated the action biofertilizant compost and bioestimulant of the humus to foliate and being verified an effect more marked envelope the evaluated indicators (growth of the plant, agricultural yield), as well as a favourable economic effect for the variants where biological products in a combined way were used or simple in comparison with the witness without application. As better treatment in most of the cases turned out to be for experiments, the addition of 8-compost kg/m2 and the application to foliate of worm humus, the one that in turn increased the yield in fruits, it diminished the cost for weight and the relationship cost benefit was favourable.
