Abstract
In the Scientific Unit Technological of Base of Alquízar, southwards of the Artemisa province in conditions of a protected system, established an experimental work with the objectives of deciding the physical-chemical characteristics of the fruits of this genus and your combination with different cultivars commercial in the stage of propagation, in which it is established the following variables of the fruit: fresh mass, equatorial and longitudinal diameter, number and mass of the seed, solid soluble total (SST), acidity(AT), index of ripeness (SST/AT) and vitamin content C, the methods used were the of Covenin (1977) y AOAC (1990) and for the phase of propagation, were valued the % of germination of the seed and the combinations with cultivars them: Persian lime (Citrus latifolia T.), Olinda Valencia orange (Citrus sinensis (L) Osb.), Pomelo Marsh Jibarito and Ruby Red (Citrus paradisi Macf.), Dancy mandarin (Citrus reticulata Blanco.), Eureka lemon (Citrus limon (L) Burm.), by deciding in these, the % achieved grafts and of sprouting, as well as the duration of this phase. Moreover grafted the cultivar Persian lime finish in the protected systems of two undertakings of citric of the country, to evaluate your conduct in the productive stage. Used a design of block at random, the data were prosecuted for an analysis of double classification variance, when it had significant differences used the proof of Tukey 0.05 %. The obtained results show that the physical-chemical characteristics of the fruit of this genus in Cuba coincide with the informed at international level. As for the phase of propagation, this genus showed a high percentage of germination, by exhibiting a good combined conduct with limes and lemons, not so in the others it cultivars, that it catch, but not sprout the grafts.
