Abstract

The development of Annonaceae in Cuba is limited among other causes by the attack of phytophagous pests. Natural enemies have a fundamental role in its control. This paper aims to evaluate the behavior of bioregulators arthropods present in three species of Annonaceae by calculating ecological parameters. Populations of natural enemies were evaluated at six locations in Cuba. A total 25 leaves and five fruits per tree at random in each sample were collected. A total 19 species of natural enemies of phytophagous arthropods including eight orders, standing Mesostigmata and Hymenoptera were identified. Phytoseilus sp. and Anagyrus sp have higher values of frequency and constancy, being dominant and constant, indicating high levels of these species bioregulatory action. There was a wealth of 10 to 12 species in the cultivation of sugar apple in Ciego de Ávila and Alquízar respectively. Bioregulatory action of natural enemies was detected to be parasitized and predated phytophagous families Aleurodidae, Diaspididae and Pseudococcidae. The predatory mites highest incidence were: Phytoseilus sp. (22%) and among parasitoids stands Anagyrus sp. (34%). In general, the behavior between populations of phytophagous arthropods and natural enemies had a direct relationship, the increasing populations of the former also increase the bioregulators.
