Abstract
YAMIL, new pepper variety for open field, of open pollination, type California Wonder, of a vegetative cycle of 130 days. Resistant to potyvirus, of big fruits, with good adaptation and productivity. It was obtained by the hybridization, followed by individual selection and successive autofecundations. This variety has been validated in the Institute of Horticultural Investigations Liliana Dimitrova (IIHLD) and in different production systems belonging to the counties of Havana, Mayabeque and Artemisa.
