Antagonistic activity of Bacillus strains against Cladosporium oxysporum and Fusarium oxysporum f.sp lycopersici
Main Article Content
Abstract
Starting from sixty strains of the Bacillus spp genus pertaining isolated in acids soils in the country, to realize comparative studies of the antagonistic activity against Cladosporium oxysporum and Fusarium oxysporum f.sp lycopersici. To evaluate the same in qualitative form, to employ the “Cooling of Dual Cultures Method”. How results were identified its 34 of the 60 total strains to possess activity against Cladosporium oxysporum and 25 in front a Fusarium oxysporum f.sp lycopersici. Later on its quantitative the activity of six strains selected as promising thought “Diffusion Metabolic” Method, which emit control percent between 60-90% for the viable products and 20-70% for the thermo-stables metabolites and strain water suspension. The fractions achieve to diminution the growth velocity this pathogen with relation at the control. To verify effectively of the preventive or curative application of the bioproductos “in vivo” were used one method of artificial infection above tomato seeds, variety INIFAT-28. Over the same highlight B 13.2 strain, precedent of Young Island, for the control a 100% of infections in both application forms against Cladosporium oxysporum, while B 61, proceeding of Guamuhaya mass, to reduce the effect of Fusarium oxysporum f.sp lycopersici to be outstanding with preventive. These last aspect permits propose these strains to continue research to guide to obtaining of new bioproducts, destined of the regions where abundant these type of soils.
