Bioproduct DIMABAC on the seeds germination of tomato (var. INIFAT-28) in seedband
Main Article Content
Abstract
Healthy and vigorous seedlings are vital to guarantee good yields in field conditions as in protected cultivation houses; for such a motive, the studies guided to stimulate the growth and vegetable plants vigor in seedbed phase have an interest scientific technician and economical. In this paper the combined application of paradise extracts (Melia azedarach L.) and a bioproduct DIMABAC (combinations MB and TA, from chosen Azotobacter chroococcum and Bacillus subtilis strains, were evaluated on tomato seeds (Solanum lycorpersicum L., var. INIFAT-28) in controlled conditions. For it 14 variants were studied and the germinated seedlings number was verified systematically up to reaching 70 % of germination; 21 days after, the seedlings were extracted to evaluate the principal parameters of the growth (length of the root, height of the plant, diameter of the stem, sheets number and fresh weight of the plant). The realized experiments showed a better behavior of the products combined opposite to the evaluated parameters and the best results were achieved to the minor concentration of the extract; besides, a pronounced influence of the used method (to mix previously both products) was showed. These results are encouraging and they demonstrate the possibility of combining the extracts of paradise and the DIMABAC to obtain a multiuse bioproduct with a promoter effect of the germination and stimulating the vegetable growth.
