Criterios acerca del empleo de productos microbianos de control biológico en el municipio Boyeros

Abstract
Se realizó una evaluación sobre los criterios a cerca de la aplicación de los Medios de Control Biológico de origen microbiano en la producción agrícola en el Municipio Boyeros; este tipo de control está dentro del manejo agroecológico de plagas y enfermedades empleado en la Agricultura Urbana. Fue utilizado un modelo de encuesta que cuenta con 13 preguntas y se entrevistaron 52 agroproductores. En dichas encuestas se abordan ocho (8) de las nueve (9) formas de producción existentes en la Agricultura Urbana. Los datos fueron procesados mediante el control y análisis de las respuestas reflejadas en los documentos y expresados en porciento. Los resultados preliminares muestran que dentro de los principales factores que limitan el uso de estos medios de Control Biológico de origen Microbiano se encuentran la escasa disponibilidad, falta de información y vías para adquirirlos. Los productos de mayor demanda son los elaborados a partir de Beauveria bassiana y el Bacillus thuringiensis, por ser los más disponibles y presentarse efectivos contra varias plagas de insectos de importanicia economíca en la agrícultura.
