The effect of two biostimulants on germination of Medicago sativa L. ´Gilboa´ variety.
Main Article Content
Abstract
The stimulation of plant growth with the use of VIUSID agro® significantly increases the productivity of treated crops and the germination of seeds, with higher yields of agricultural farms under normal production conditions. BIOBRAS-16 is a brassinosteroid considered a natural and environmentally friendly biostimulant. The objective of the study was to evaluate the influence of VIUSID agro® and BIOBRAS-16 in the germination of seeds at laboratory scale, and to analyze the morphological behavior of seedlings growth. An increment in the germination percentages of the seeds was observed with the application of the biostimulants without affecting the morphological behavior of the seedling growth.
