Necesidades hidricas del cultivo Solanum lycopersicum L. sobre substrato de fibra de coco bajo condiciones protegidas
Main Article Content
Abstract
The work was carried out in a greenhouse under climatic conditions controlled in the Wajay community, in Boyeros municipality, La Habana. The aim was to determining the water demand of Solanum lycopersicum L., cultivated on coconut fiber substratum. The reference evapotranspiration with the employment of the methods, “Penman-Monteith”, “Hargreaves-Samani”, “Turc” and that of the “Integral of radiation” the evapotranspiration of the cultivation was considered and compared through the coefficients fitted for the crop using the method of control of the volume of the drainage. For the experiment development several climatic variables were used like the solar radiation, temperature, wind speed, relative humidity and the circadian cycle duration, registered by the Meteorological Station of Santiago de Las Vegas. The evaluation of the located watering in the high frequency system, the uniformity coefficient was classified as good and acceptable, the distribution uniformity was classified as bad and the coefficient of production as average. The methods “Penman-Monteith”, “Hargreaves-Samani”, “Turc” and “Integral of radiation” were considered jointly with the method of control of the drainage volume, which would be used to correct the pH, electrical conductivity and rainwater drainage, what allow the water saving and the reduction of the environmental impact the cause the excessive watering and the fertilizers during the irrigation.
