Analysis of descalifications causes of seeding surfaces to Phaseolus vulgaris (L.) seed in Artemisa y Mayabeque, Cuba

Abstract
Causes of disqualification surface seeding to Phaseolus vulgaris L. designated to seed come from 288 suburban farms, and belong to farmer’s agricultural entities from Artemisa and Mayabeque provinces that were engage by Unidad Empresarial de Base (UEB) “Artemisa Seedˮ during 2011 to 2015 was characterized. The results of production show that the principal causes associated to disqualifications are associated to vegetative development slack, phytosanitary affectations and varietal mixtures and that the varieties that show more phytosanitary affectations were: `CC-25-9-C`, `Bat-304`, `Delicias-364` and `CC- 25-9-N´. It was reduced the disqualification surfaces during the evaluated period due to a better farmers’ selection and higher agronomic behavior of selected varieties that more contribution, with the recuperation of net seed to 223,41 t, it was representing to commercialized certificated seed for more than four million CUP.
