Determinación del nivel crítico de potasio asimilable en suelos de Cuba plantados con caña de azúcar
Main Article Content
Abstract
The study developed using 65 level of potassium experiments, in the experimental area of the research institute of the sugarcane in Cuba, using 231 harvests accomplished in soils that represent the main places where the cultivation in the country. Two roads to determine the critical level of potassium were use, on basis of the predominance of different type of clays. Response found the application the nutrient in the soils with predominance of clays 1:1, did not in the types 2:1. The critical resulting level of the method of Cate and Nelson was 17 mg 100 g-1 of K2O. Likewise the adjustment of different models, considering all the types of clays was 14.69 mg 100 g-1 of K2 O, for the case of the predominance of type of clay 1:1 was mg 17.48 100 g-1 of K2O and for the type 2:1 was 11.03 mg 100 g-1 of K2O.
