Abstract

The main activity in the Region of the Altos de Jalisco, is the quintessential livestock and the producers in this area have been looking for new options through the application of organic fertilizers, use and efficient management of irrigation, new crops such as vegetables, the objective is the production of organic vegetables. The goal to meet was to empower the women of the community of Tequilillas municipality of Acatic, Jal, in the production of the organic vegetable gardens, and in the production, transformation and industrialization of the products of the garden, to improve the conditions of life of the community, the project I look at two stages, the first was the establishment of the organic vegetable plots in field, on the grounds of the University Centre of the high. and high Experimental field of INIFAP Jalisco, in the second stage consisted of training in the development and transformation of different horticultural products from the orchard, in the laboratory of agro-industrial University of the high, and in the Community House of Tequilillas, in terms of results, we can consider the following: were the organic horticultural garden where more than 150 people attended 4 shows, trained on average more than 20 housewives of the Tequilillas community, in the manufacture of products such as: jams, yogurt, tomato puree, capsu, mayonnaise etc.
