Abstract

A total of 900 chickens of both sexes, with a day of age, coming from the of two pure lines, H2 and E1 (HE21), located in floor on zealot bed to reason of 10 birds / m2, they were used with the objective of evaluating the substitution of the leaf of Moringa oleífera, in the beginning diets, growth and finish feeds. A treatment control was located that served from witness to the experiment (T1) and a treatment with moringa leaves (T2), to which was applied, the three moringa levels, those that consisted on 10%, in the beginning stage, followed by 20% in the stage of growth and it concluded with 30% of inclusion, in the finish stage. The experimental unit was constituted by a cubicle of 300 chickens each one, with a weight average initial of 42 grams. The offered diets were based, in the use of concentrated pelletizado. For the prosecution of the data a design of simple classification was used with two treatments. The statistical package Statgraphis plus version was used 5.1. The upbringing stayed until the 42 days, where the indicators of weight were evaluated, daily half gain (GMD), viability, consumption and conversion. The moringa inclusion, improved significantly, the corporal weight (p<0.05) and the GMD (p<0.05). A good behavior of the birds is achieved, when substituting the diets for meat chickens, for leaves of Moringa oleífera, being obtained an economic gain of 188.26 CUP and 11.89 kg more than weight lives taken place by each 300 initiate birds.
