Concentration of four groups of miroorganisms in dry samples and extracts of tile (Justicia pectoralis var. pectoralis)
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Tile is very used in phyto farmacus production, due to its sedative power. At the moments their demand increases, but the matter prevails it should with the inocuity requirements that its imposes the industry. It present investigation it left of Tile transplant with thirty days of age, on trays that were filled with soil and with sustrabs for a soil and lombris humus mixture to 50 percent. After the plantation, the half was placed to the shade and the other part in the sun. It was determinate the microorganisms heterotrophs totals, mushrooms, yeasts and enterobacterias and its was evaluated the effect of physical and chemist methods to reduce the microbial load in samples of plants and in their extracts by means of the Dilutions Seriates Method. The results demonstrated that, among the two used drying forms the solar drying was more efficient because it was able diminish the concentration of some of the groups in one or up to two orders (from 107 in the fresh samples until 104-105 UFC.mL-1 in the dry). The washed and disinfection of the samples was also effective, when impeding the growth of two microbial growths and to reduce the concentration of the other ones two. In the extracts, obtained by the method of percolation of later of the solar drying, alone a low concentration of total microorganisms grew (103 UFC.mL-1). This reduction is important, and it can contribute to that these matters cousins and extracts are employed for the productions of medications of human use.
