Abstract
The green pen or petitpois (Pisum sativum L.) is the specie broadly distributed in the world. In Cuba, exist high tradition and acceptation in partly of people toward this grain, however, the majority of these consumption depend the imports. The studies to guide an improvement and obtaining of new cultivars, adapted a soil and climatic conditions of limited. Starting from establishment of improvement program the obtained the new cultivar 'K-06'. The objective of present work was to describe the principles botanies and agronomics characteristics of cultivar 'K-06' for loving consumption, to permit sir up these employ in partly of small productive. During the investigations its verify of plants the 'K-06' to have 20 cm of altitude of the first sheath, produce between 30-50 sheath/plants, to which contain between three and seven grains. Phenologycally, thiscultivar being the germination the five days and eight days to stain 100 percent.
