Efecto de diferentes sustratos orgánicos sobre el rendimiento de lechuga (Lactuca sativa L.) y rábano (Raphanus sativus L.) en condiciones de organopónico

Abstract

The handling of the substrates important to obtain urban systems success for the production. The use of organic materials like substrate component, is a very common practice in the different modalities of the urban agriculture, with very satisfactory results. The objective of this paper was the determination the effect of different compound substrates with worm humus, bovine manure and the mixed phlegm each one with soil Red Ferralític on the yield of the lettuce and the radish. The experiment was carried up in Institute of Fundamental Investigations in Tropical Agriculture “Alejandro of Humboldt", Santiago de Las Vegas, Ciudad de La Havana in areas the Agriculture Laboratory under conditions controlled in gavels Mitscherlich of 5.0 Kg of capacity. The proportion matter organic/soil was1:1 according to the Technical Manual of Organoponics and Intensive Orchards. The investigation was also carried out at of temperature and humidity conditions of the different atmosphere. An experiment was designed at random in blocks, and the indicative dry mass and fresh mass of the cultivations were measured. For the mean comparison in a variance analysis, was used the Tukey Test. The results shomed that biggest values dry and fresh mass in lettuce and radish were obtained in the mixture with manure. It was observed that the yield of the variety of lettuce var. Used “BSS-13” was significantly superior in high temperatures period, while the mass of radish var. “PS-9”, cultivated in of smaller temperature, period reached the best values.
