Main Article Content
Abstract
The work show the results obtained during the Pleurotus ostreatus mushroom cultivation (strain P969) on rice straw, with a robust mycelia growing at 21 day of incubation in total darkness condition and 37 oC of temperature. At 30 days of incubation in a productive cycle of 37 days, it harvested 420 g of mushrooms per 1 substrate kg in bag for productivity of 0.72 kg mushrooms/kg rice straw employed with parameters of relative humidity and temperature registered during the fructification of 77.5 % and 27.5 oC, respectively. The fruitbodies reported proteins content of 4.13 % and in carbohydrates of 6.02 % /100 g of fresh weight. This study potential the straw mushroom recycles in mushrooms production; with a fungus bioconvertion % of 72.52 of the vegetable substrate, with an additional value by the employment concept in the production of 3.6 CUC per straw kg; because the mushroom kg saled in 5 CUC; resulting of great importance.
